Roland Fischer from 1990 to 2010 is the largest retrospective held so far this known German photographer whose work is part of some of the most important European and American collections of contemporary art, including the Museum of Modern Art in Paris, Strasbourg and Antwerp.
The exhibition occupies the entire first floor of the center and brings together nearly 100 pieces of his most significant photographic series from the 80's to today. After
focus on the portrait over the 80 in the series Portraits Los Angeles (serial human faces emerging from a swimming pool) the serial Monks and the stunning series of portraits made in China, Roland Fischer addresses in the 90 architectural representation with the same apparent objectivity and critical distance.

2 The course has granted unrestricted CREDI, University Salamanca and deals with trade relations between theater, film, dance and visual arts.
This course will be held in the DA2 between 28 February and 5 March 2011 of bringing together a varied roster of speakers who will alternate in the national and international experts in theory of the image as Karin Oscar or Olehnslager Cornago with visual artists of the stature of Julian Rosefeldt, Perejaume, Concha Jerez or Basque Araujo filmmakers and theater as Calixto Bieito or choreographers Daniel Veith and performers. Conferences are supplemented by various audio-visual performances at the end of each session.
