This morning has been presented in the program DA2 Art Party. DA2 Since 2004 has maintained a stable relationship with the organization of workshops and guided tours to various associations and groups of people with disabilities, this dynamic educational project is inserted.
Association ASPRODES , FEAPS Salamanca, in collaboration with the DA2 and the Salamanca City Culture Foundation in their efforts to improve the quality of life of people with ID and their families has developed a new project related to artistic expression and will be launched within an area identified with the art community, as is the center of contemporary art Salamanca DA2 (Domus Artium 2002). The project is aimed at people most in need of support, which are those that find it most difficult to express themselves and find a way of personal development in the work of the workshops, but in the future will be extended to other people.
The purpose is to bring people with intellectual disabilities to contemporary creation from full accessibility. Understanding this as accessible to any degree of autonomy. Therefore, the intention is to bring out a work project of creative workshops in all forms of possible activities in the environment that the DA2 to offer, as a mechanism promoting the process of experimentation, reflection and intervention. Understanding creativity as a means of expression and communication unique to each person, as a life and not just as an occupation of time.
